About Us

Metro Property Investments is a family run business that has been trading since 1978, in that time a substantial portfolio of properties have been acquired, there is a mix of stock ranging from ground rent investments, residential houses/flats, commercial properties and a number of small shopping centres.

We cover a range of areas, although predominantly based in the Essex area we have properties in Sussex, Avon, Surrey, Kent, Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire various London boroughs and West Midlands. The business is headed by Vidya Goyal who has been involved since day one and is assisted by Property Portfolio Manager Steve Donnelly who has been with the group since 2009. We recently acquired our office building in Laindon, Essex.

Our acquisitions programme has become more active in the past couple of years with a number of investment led purchases, we are always looking for potential sites/projects. Our recent acquisitions can be seen on the projects page, we have purchased a number of part completed buildings from receivers and have successfully completed the developments to satisfy building control and warranty companies requirements. We now have in excess of 350 properties under in-house management along with various freehold blocks.
We are currently looking for similar projects plus development sites, along with our sister company Hallmark Healthcare for care homes, hotel, and residential development. Also stand alone blocks of flats in town centre locations ideally with commercial units below with a view to operating them as serviced apartments. Due to the recent relaxation of planning laws we are also looking for redundant office blocks to convert into residential units.

One of the other avenues we are exploring is Joint Ventures, where we can finance a development if you have the land with planning consent
